As I said, far-fetched. Karunakaran archher my English lecturer used to say that we should read novels or books that are outside our syllabus. Thanks for the Mr Jeffrey Archer and all the very best for you future creativities. I quite enjoyed this book, but expected more of a connection between all the tales than was present.
We all need variety and uncertainties in our lives to make it worthwhile and occupying. The central premise is again quite ludicrous – our protagonist abandons his evening duties after spotting a gorgeous lady entering the theatre. Thank you for rating this Product.
Nov 25, Each of these stories I read between arxher people’s novels, in order to space them out. Archer remains the master of the short story.

Mar 28, Ajisha Mohan rated it it was amazing Shelves: Ted Barker, a small town governor has an unexpected honored guest Mountbatten, whose wants to visit informally but yet in an unsaid manner his expectations are something more than the red carpet.
I enjoyed the witty voice of the narrator and the description of the charcaterss, even arcuer they were quite stereotypical. Some of the stories were high tension and others were like a Sunday morning stroll. One Man’s Meat arched clearly, the piece d’ resistance of this book.

His friend also a writer, is very eager to tell him the plot of his latest novel. Some of these stories have twists and some have irony, but they all have that exceptional phrasing that I have come to expect from Mr.
With 4 endings I only hope I have mad the right choice There are some surprises in this story, as things don’t go as per David’s plan. The jerrings is offered the choice of four different endings: Timeo Danaos is about a bank manager Ted Becker who considers himself a ”born entrepreneur” but is actually a miser looking out for cheap bargains. The main couple was loveable and it was so fun watch them get their shit together before a special guest arrived; it was quite relatable.
Still a decent light re My rating is 4. The entire book seems to play on the stupidity of people, a device that stops working sooner rather than later.
