An admitted Anglophile, she harbors deep prejudices xnn favor of anything British. She is the mother of two teenage daughters, both of whom were born in mainland China. Read it and then read it again Upon reading a book like this it is hard to view the scriptures in the same context.

I was not looking for a book of daily devotionals that day, but decided that the material included addressed what I wanted to know. Each chapter includes an overview of the name in the original language, essential Scripture passages, and five days of guided prayers and devotionals illustrating what the name reveals about God’s character.

I really wish I had better things to say because I think it deserves it. I’m not good prwying keeping faithful with books like this – daily guides – but the content is rich and fascinating.
